Around the world, over 265 million children are currently out of school. 22% of them are between the ages of four and eleven. Often, even the children that make it to school miss out on the basic literacy and math skills they need to thrive. We have to continue with the major progress has been made towards increasing access to education in the last decade. Worldwide education enrollment has great improved, particularly for women and girls. We must continue pushing education worldwide to give everyone a fair chance at living the life that they desire.
